Hello! I'm mintstea, also known as tan/tanuma-san. A freelance illustrator, mainly doing character illustrations, backgrounds, and sometimes graphic design. Please look around for more information!
Character illusts / CG
✦ This refers to commission where the character(s) is/are the main focus with minimal background focus. It comes with fully rendered character(s) with minimal background/blurred background
✦ Resolution might vary but if there's no other special request, it's A4 by default (2480 x 3508)
✦ Extra character in one picture is half of the price. For example, for the half body, it's an additional of $30 per extra character
✦ Extra expression is $15; extra pose is $20. It would be counted as extra pose as long as I don't have to draw the entire body from scratch
✦ Additional hard background where I need to draw the background with details will incur extra charges. Please ask to be sure
✦ Complicated character design will also incur extra charges, for example character with heavy armors, intricate hairpiece, wings, anthro characters etc. Please ask to make sure.

Backgrounds
✦ This refers to a picture drawn without a character on it. The price varies depends on the difficulty and details on the picture (there are lots of buildings or items in it or not)
✦ This also refers to a service where you provide your own character where I draw the background for it. Please tell me about that so I can adjust to your character and I don't have to render the background behind the character.

items
✦ This refers to small items that will look good if you zoom it out. Can be items in the game, buttons for your website etc. The size would be 1000x1000 and you can resize it as you wish

Graphic design
✦ This is a graphic design service, can be anything from brochure, cd design jacket, design for your Instagram feeds, etc

✦ I offer other services that I don't list here as long as it's still related to drawings. Please get in touch with me for more info about the pricing and examples.
✦ Not listed here but still very much related with what I've done before in the past: simple animation gif, chibis, character sprites, character design based on descriptions, coloring with provided lineart, sketch commissions, etc.
how to order

✦ Please provide as many as references as possible to make your order clear, I might ask for more description if I don't understand, but an order without clear references might not be accepted
✦ After discussion and there's an agreement from both sides, I will send you an invoice for 100% upfront payment. If you're a returning customer, we might do 50/50 instead.
✦ I only accept Paypal for payment, and there's a fee of 4,4% + $0,3. Quoted price is not included with the fees, so the final price is higher than quoted price
✦ I will proceed to do the rough sketch. You can do as many revisions as possible during this stage
✦ After sketch is approved, I will proceed to the final version of the drawing
✦ I will send you the low-res version of the final drawing. At this stage, if we're doing 50/50, I will send you the final invoice for the remaining half
✦ I accept minor revisions for the final version such as changing a small part of the image, color adjustment, etc as long as it's still within what we agreed on during the sketch phase. You will be charged more if you ask for a major revision that deviates greatly from the sketch version.
✦ Once the final version is accepted I'll send you the bigger resolution image via e-mail.
terms of service
✦ I have rights to upload some of the commissions as portfolio/promotional pieces unless it's an unreleased work and the client specifies so as private
✦ The estimated turnaround is about 3-14 days. If you expect a drawing to be done by a sudden deadline, then it's a rushed order. Rushed orders will have an added fee.
✦ Any work is only being done after payment is confirmed to be received.
✦ No refunds if I have done something about your commissions.
✦ Please only send me an inquiry if you're absolutely sure I can do your commission, based on the examples and the art style I have. I can probably adapt to the art style you want and try my best, but I can't guarantee the result especially if it's too different from what I usually do. A difficult style might incur more charges.
✦ I don't draw NSFW or mecha or realistic, but for coloring service, NSFW is okay. Just note that NSFW has different rates. Light mecha is still acceptable. Just ask to make sure if it's acceptable or not.
✦ If you're Indonesian, there's other ways to pay: BCA, Gopay, UOB, etc. Just ask.
